In 2003 Anna entered 'So you think you're funny?' with no circuit experience and untried material about her life and origins in Cornwall.
Her first ever gig got her through to the semi finals of the prestigious New Comedy Competition at the Edinburgh Fringe festival.
After being spotted for another national competition, her 3rd gig was onstage at the Comedy Store in London at the Funny Women final 2003, where she came runner up.The final of 'So you think you're funny? 'was her 5th ever gig.
Since then, she's got her head down and worked hard honing her skills and is able to tackle any size or type of crowd with ease.A comedy natural, she makes an excellent MC and has compered crowds from 5 to 15,000.
As an act Anna is confident and comfortable on all types of bill at any sort of event, from festivals to theatres ,and appears regularly on the national comedy circuit. Now international, with gigs in Scandinavia,Europe and Devon.
She is never offended by anyone saying- 'Blimey, aren't you funny for a girl' or 'Are you really from Cornwall?'
